| If you could resurrect the career of one 90's group/artist, who would it be? | ||||
JohnnyAwesome24 2008-09-12 21:32:20 Total Posts: 1928 | I was thinking about how much I miss having groups like Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Silk, Shai, and Dru Hill in prominance. I wish these sort of groups could come back, preferably the actual groups I already love. With that said, if you had to pick ONE who would it be and why?

R&B Guru 2008-09-13 20:35:40 Total Posts: 2527 | After 7. Straight up, I loved their last album Reflections and I want to hear more from them. Kevon Edmonds on his own though might be enough to sate that desire though so if I can't get all three of them, I'll just take him.

I like Mint Condition for the same reason, but, like junebug18 said, they are still performing. After 7 is good one too R&B Guru; their music was very mature.

JohnnyAwesome24 2008-09-15 17:39:38 Total Posts: 1928 | This has been so hard for me as I have so mny that I miss. However, I feel like Jodeci needs to comeback with their hot songs. They just had a way of putting out fire everytime
R&B Guru 2008-09-16 05:42:58 Total Posts: 2527 | That's why Jodeci just blows my mind. They kepe talking bout a come back, everyone wants them to hvae a comeback... but they never had a come back!

DMcMahon 2008-09-16 15:40:41 Total Posts: 46 | I think I'd say U.N.V, because I'd love to hear them produce something new.. they only had what 3 or 4 hits but come on, they have some talent!
R&B Guru 2008-09-16 17:02:29 Total Posts: 2527 | DMcMahon, you and me are on the same wavelength here. Though I'll say, I think most of UNV's new jack tracks were rotten. They were a ballad group through and through.
junebug18 2008-09-16 18:57:31 Total Posts: 540 | uhh DMcMahon, UNV had one hit. 'so in love with you' and 'straight thru my heart' weren't really "hits"...and i agree with R&BGuru, their new jack was just a no-no, while their ballads were mostly good tho. Umm R&BGuru, although i loved After 7 and would also love for them to make a comeback, do you know the reason why Keith Michell left the group after the 'Reflections' album in the first place?
R&B Guru 2008-09-16 19:39:25 Total Posts: 2527 | No idea. Can you tell me what the cause was? And while UNV didn't make a ton of hits, those tracks you listed were still nice jams :)
