I have always had trouble enjoying female groups/solo artists. I loved Lauren Hill for about 3 years but now I pretty much dont like anyone.

Are there any acts that you guys/gals can point out to me and get me back on the love train?

Johnny Awesome, you and me are the same! I've always had this problem and I don't know why. I think it might be that I feel I can relate more with male R&B singers since I think/feel the same things as they do.

While I like ladies (and Toni Braxton's first two albums are a good start), I've never enjoyed them as much as guy singers.

Where have you all been, you got to love the ladies. First off you got to start off with my girl Anita Baker. Then move over to some of the best selling women in the R&B Biz.

Destiny's Child - sold 100mil
TLC - 45mil
SWV - 30mil
EnVogue - 20mil
Xscape - 10.5mil
Total - 7mil
702 - 5mil

All their albums were good start there if that don't get you back on the Love train go see a heart doctor. LOL

To tell y'all the truth, I dont really like female like that either, beside a few excepions such as:

Mary J.
Aaliyah
Xscape
SWV
some TLC

and a few other that I cant think of.

But other than that, I'd say about 95 percent of the R&B I listen to is the fellas, from Stevie Wonder all the way to Raheem Devaughn.

Why do you guys think that is? Is it just guys like guy singers more? Or are guys better?

Xscape is tight though, I liked Traces of My Lipstick a lot. And TLC's up and down but I like a decent amount of theirs.

I think a good male singer is better than a good female singer. It seems like most girls have at least a decent singing voice.

I like SWV and Toni Braxton as well, but thats pretty much where it ends.
