| Five Strongest R&B vocal group of the 90s? | ||||
Moofu 2008-08-18 22:20:26 Total Posts: 726 | This is based on vocal talent alone mainly the groups harmonies and each members individual vocal ability. Mine would have to be 1)Boyz II Men 2)Silk 3)Shai 4)Riff 5)Dru Hill What do you guys think?

Anyways, your list is gonna be very similar to mine. So based on harmonies/individual voices, I'm gonna have to say: 1. Boyz II Men 2. Take 6 3. Silk 4. Riff 5. Dru Hill Honorable Mention: Shai, Jodeci, Portrait, New Edition. As for the girls groups: Brownstone got the best harmony, followed by probably Xscape. Cant think of the other 3 at the moment.

R&B Guru 2008-08-19 21:51:59 Total Posts: 2528 | Yea, for me, my list is the same as ilikeits. I know it's boring lol, but when I think of group vocals, those are the three that immediately come to mind. Shai's performance on If I Ever Fall In Love is great and they have shown they have no fear of going a capella. The other two groups well... are obvious. Boyz II Men's power is tremendous and Take 6 is the definitive a capella group.
