I appreciate the fact that sites such as this preserve the memories and music of this time period. It truly gave birth to a multitude of outstanding artists. But the directory here is n dire need of updating! Where are artists such as Sa Deuce Puff Johnson Miss Jones Tonya Blount Timex Social Club Jody Watley Nu Shooz Tre (from mo thugs family) Just to name a few...other than that I love this site! I am SURE the Guru would gladly oblige and add all these artists along with their bios, discographies, personal interests, shoe size, family trees and much more! Right, Guru? The only artists on that list that I have heard of is Puff Johnson and Miss Jones (only because she was a feature on one of Shai's later albums). And from scanning a couple of these, it looks like a few of them were exclusively 80s, which I know I attempted to start adding to the site... but never really got to. I think Havok said it best though. There are so many artists that come out at any given time, it's hard to capture all of them. But if there are serious omissions, I'll definitely give it high priority. Timex Social Club sounds like a group for watch lovers. And from scanning a couple of these, it looks like a few of them were exclusively 80s, which I know I attempted to start adding to the site... but never really got to. I used to hear that song all the time in the late 80's when my aunts would play that song. They still listen to that song and I hear it on the old school radio station too.
