Warner music group corp, the world's third largest music company, said on thursday that video game makers will need to pay more to license songs for music based games like guitar hero and rock band. This shows the pure greed of the music biz. Game makers pick old songs that are dead and gone and revive them when they put them in games. This in turn in increase the sales of old music. It should be Warner paying the game makers.

Yea, this blows my mind as it's right down the aisle of the music videos on YouTube. This game serves as promotion for these artists and I'm sure their album sales have gone up significantly as artists music is exposed to new generations. I can see having minor licensing fees since it is their songs being featured, but to expect more is ridiculous.

And I agree with the Souls. Let's get an R&B Hero game with some good jams on it. Or maybe get Prince on Rock Band!
