Since you said want, I'd love to buy a private house on a lake and just be a reclusive writer with a dog and a beautiful wife to make me sandwiches. And being recognized for your your song writing isnt as complicated as people think. Start by entering your songs in poetry comps etc. Write to a magazine and ask them if they'll publish it...
