Yo guys,
For a long time now I've been struggling with trying to get news onto R&B Haven. While we've got the front page, I've wanted to make that more of a focus on interviews and what have you.
HOWEVER, I've started a new blog to post about R&B news, which can be found at soulofrnb.com. I started it Monday so you'll probably see a few posts over the next few days which seem old to you, but I'm just trying to expand it as much as I can right now.
I'm debating somehow integrating this into R&B Haven, but in the meantime, they're two separate entities. Right now I'm thinking that I might just put a link in the R&B Haven navigation bar (up by artists/music videos) that says R&B News and links to the blog, and the blog would link back here. However, I might do something more integrated if I can think of something.

The link in the navigation bar is suitable and tidy. (Tidy as in, understandable & simple) I was just checking it out. Love the wedding songs! Great choices I must say. Do I sense you have a lucky some one???? ..... Although The info you have compiled in r&b news is interesting, I believe that, due to the conduct of wording in the "catch paragraph", it is not greatly enticing. HOWEVER, with that said, I do think you've done a wonderful job with the news, it was enjoyable to read. I read it all. I've now learnt a few things from it too. I believe it will work for you. Great job Guru.
Thanks for the comments! I wish I had a lucky someone haha, though I did get "Always and Forever" from my brother's wedding as that was what they used.
As for the news page, I'll try and work on making the catch paragraph better. I'm writing the posts for Soul of R&B and feeding them into R&B Haven so they're written in blog format right now. I will try and see if there's a way that I can make the feed have a more "to the point - this is what I'm about to say" type message in it.
And of course, be sure to click for more if there are any songs/artists that jump out at you from the items as they often include the audio tracks in the actual post.
Does that mean there isnt a special someone?.. With the name GURU, are u 4 real? Lol. And No worries. Wasnt tring to "draft" ur work. I'm a writer, so its in my nature to criticise. And I sent u an e-mail....
I was actually thinking of starting a blog myself not too long ago but I got lazy lol. I would be glad to contribute to your blog if you're cool with it. I can post single reviews, album reviews and all of that good stuff. :)
Haha most def. Right now I'm just doing a lot of "hear say" from other blogs but I'd love to have any additional support I can. I'm hoping to put the posts in a more prominent spot on rnbhaven as opposed to the R&B News page (or probably in addition to it).

I can also look up getting you a log in onto the admin panel so you could post as another username.
