I would like you to interview Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, and Johnny Gill about the new group Heads Of State and why everybody thinks they are the reason for New Edition not doing a new album for the 25th Anniversary. Ask them how felt about Ricky, Ronnie, and Mike not wanting to do shows with them for a while but as BBD and is that why they decided to move foward with Heads Of State. Ask Bobby the real reason he left or got kicked out of New Edition and ask if Ralph was the only one who protested him getting voted out. Ask them in 2009 or 2010 will we see a full six man New Edition group instead of two separate groups Bell Biv DeVoe and Heads Of State. Ask Bobby Brown did he really like Brooke Payne and how has his relationships with the other five members of New Edition been throughout the years. I know he has always been close with Ralph and Mike.
I can answer these questions without an interview. For your first question the reason their not doing a 25th anniversary album is because no one wants to front the money including themselves. They all have been in the business so long since they were kids you would think that they would have saved their own money to invest in themselves for their fans sake, but they didn't and labels know that. Ricky, Ronnie and Mike only wanted to do show as BBD is because they get along with each other. When you're on the road when you are together so much you have to be able to get along with each other. And you are right Ralph was the only one to protest Bobby being kicked out the group and that's because Ralph was the only one willing to put up with Bobby's crap because of his talent and the fact that they grew up together. The real reason Bobby got kicked out was because of his huge ego. When they were on tour when they were young he would extend the performances where he was singing lead and take his clothes off. That wasn't the image they were promoting so it was time for him to go. Bobby admitted that he wanted them to kick him out so he could go solo. In 2009 or 2010 we won't see or hear from all of New Edition because it's too many egos. And nobody cares about Brooke Payne because she is a groupie, but we do love groupie love. LOL
Brooke Payne is a man and he's New Edition's manager he also managed LSG, En Vogue, and of course NE's spinoff group Bell Biv DeVoe both New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe featured his nephew Ronnie DeVoe and people think he was Jamie Foxx in the group's If It Isn't Love video and the N.E. Heart Break video too. He discovered New Edition and gave them their name around 1978 when Ricky, Mike, and Bobby formed the group when they were 9 and 10 years old. Then between 1979 and 1980 Ricky and Bobby brought Ralph into the group because they were friends with him.
