So we've unveiled the second part of our J.Poww interview today. J.Poww's album comes out this weekend and should be an interesting work. To check out some of the songs, go to his myspace here: http://www.myspace.com/jpowwakajpz
In this round of the interview, we talk a lot about the R&B business and the benefits of being an independent. We also talked a lot about his new solo album and what you can expect from it.
In addition, I got back in touch with Case this week and we should be lining up an interview to appear on the site in March. Alongside the Riff interview, we'll have a lot of good stuff coming up soon so keep coming back!
The song of the week this week is a little off the beaten path. G-Wiz's Teddy Bear. The song is infectious and it's funny. I've heard it before, I know that much. But I honestly feel like I've never heard of G-Wiz. Ah well. It's a fun song. So listen!
Well, have a good week. And as always, keep talking :)
Probably the most interesting part of the interview was J.Poww's information on numbers. Seventy cents an album under the major labels? Just shows how much the labels take from the artists.
