They had a distinguished sound that was funky and eclectic. I like Mint Condition for the same reason, but, like junebug18 said, they are still performing. After 7 is good one too R&B Guru; their music was very mature.

I stated that Jodeci had a falling out with New Edition and Johnny Gill because they were no shows at some featured concerts. After rereading DJ Mac's comments, I made a mistake of stating the falling out of Jodeci with NE & JG was because of them being no shows. This was incorrect. Correctly, Jodeci did have a falling out with NE & JG. The reason for it is not mentioned, nor specified in DJ Mac's comments. However, and clearly in DJ Mac's comments, there are grievances against Jodeci by NE & JG, since they made clear that they'll never again do a show with Jodeci.
