The song that comes to my mind is "Let's Get Down" by Tony! Toni! Tone!. To me, this song calls you to the dance floor or at least causes you to groove in your seat.

I agree with d0rk and bunky1787 on Joe being underrated. Well, I wouldn't say underrated, but he was certainly under promoted by the record label Jive Records.

The ONE I would resurrect is Tony! Toni! Tone!. I really like the fact that they were a band. They had a distinguished sound that was funky and eclectic. I like Mint Condition for the same reason, but, like junebug18 said, they are still performing. After 7 is good one too R&B Guru; their music was very mature.

Jodeci

I want to clarify a statement I made in my first post on Jodeci. I stated that Jodeci had a falling out with New Edition and Johnny Gill because they were no shows at some featured concerts. After rereading DJ Mac's comments, I made a mistake of stating the falling out of Jodeci with NE & JG was because of them being no shows. This was incorrect. Correctly, Jodeci did have a falling out with NE & JG. The reason for it is not mentioned, nor specified in DJ Mac's comments. However, and clearly in DJ Mac's comments, there are grievances against Jodeci by NE & JG, since they made clear that they'll never again do a show with Jodeci.
