| Posted by R&B Guru at 2009-10-23 09:01:21 | | Yo... sorry I been out for a while. LeToya's team just contacted me again about trying to set things up. Would you be interested in interviewing her or are you over that now? |
| Posted by R&B Guru at 2009-05-28 10:01:01 | | Yea, I'm with you on the cd. She's down in Florida right now so they're putting me in touch with her reps down there to see what they can do.
I was going to tell you that the interview should focus almost entirely on the new album, so I agree with you completely on needing the music. |
| Posted by R&B Guru at 2009-05-27 08:44:58 | | Sounds good. I'll send you an email later today with some stuff and then more specifics after I talk to her rep. I have to talk to my brother about it as well since he's the liason so I want to make sure it's cool with him. |

I'm emailing Letoya's rep today... are you still game for doing the interview if I set it up?
Do you use aim or anything like that? I'm probs going to email you so we can talk over the details. Let me know when you see this. |

| Posted by R&B Guru at 2009-04-14 10:46:53 | | Ay bro. Would you be interested in interviewing Letoya when her album's release gets closer? |
| Posted by R&B Guru at 2009-01-05 19:51:12 | | Yo dude. I was on your blog earlier and saw it hasn't been updated in a while. What have you been up to? Keeping busy? |
| Posted by Buttaflyy at 2008-08-06 14:18:04 | | I am not quite sure why Wishing On A Star is one of the most covered songs ever. It is a simple song, but very deep and meaningful. You can almost hear the remorse in the way Rose Royce sings it. Other's who have covered it for example, the Cover Girls and Beyonce just made it sound pretty. It almost lacked the soul behind the original singer's version. However, I am a fan of the Will Downing version. He is a fantastic singer and to hear a man sing this song I do not feel the remorse about a love lost but the arrangement and his smooth voice - I don't know it's one of my favorite covers. I also wanted to ask 2 questions: what made you even write about this song? Why would you think it has any elements of stalking? Just curious. |
| Posted by R&B Guru at 2008-07-15 10:55:38 | | So I found the issue. It turns out, the avatar stuff doesn't work in Internet Explorer. I've always done it in Firefox so never spotted it.
Thanks for having the problem :). You've helped me find a bug. haha |
| Posted by R&B Guru at 2008-07-15 10:52:31 | | Crisis averted :). You now have an avatar! |
| Posted by Buttaflyy at 2008-07-14 10:28:00 | | Brandy vs. Monica?? In terms of singin ability, Monica wins hands down. The girl has an amazing gift. Brandy however, is a much more soulful singer. More passionate. I can't think of one Monica song that stirs my soul, but I can think of a few Brandy one's that do. |
